 .   NOTEBOOK SPECIFICATION

To use this 3G/HSDPA USB modem, the minimum specifications required for PC/Notebook areas follows:

• USB slot(s)
• Minimum processor Pentium133MHZ
• Minimum RAM 32MB
• Minimum space for hard disk 32MB
• Operating system Windows 2000 or Windows XP
• Minimum resolution display 800 X 600 pixels

2.   INSTALLATION FOR DRIVER/USB MODEM APPLICATION PROCEDURE.
ATTENTION! Driver software for modem has included to the USB modem.

• Plug USB Modem cords (that has U-SIM 3G Indosat inserted) to the USB slot to your PC or Notebook.
• Please wait for a while until USB

• If USB device has been detected, then it will automatically appear a dialog window as follows:
• Choose the language you use, and then click Next.

 

• Click Next

 

• Click I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button, then click Next

 

• Choose location for installation drive of data card, and then click Next

 

• Installation will proceed immediately, and then click Next to start installing or Back if you have few things to fix.

 

• Installation is running.

 

• Installation proceed has finished, then click Finish

3. SETTING OF 3G INDOSAT AT DATA CARD APPLICATION

After installation of driver software of modem has finished, please wait for a while, until the utility of Huawei USB Modem application exist.

• Click Menu Settings – Network Connection Settings....

• Few setting that have to be done are: 
  • Fill Profile Name : indosatm2
  • On Authetification, fill the Number with*99#, Username: xxyyzz, Password:***********(Username and password Subscriber received from IM2)
  • On APN, choose Static, and then type in the APN box with indosatm2
  • Choose PAP on Authentication protocol
  • Click Save and then click OK.

Huawei data card is ready to be used. Convince you’re in 3G coverage area.

Click Connect to connect to Internet.
